For diagrams that show future predictions, the key word in the instructions is predictions which may or may not happen

Expressions, in the passive because we don't know who made these predictions, such as is anticipated, is forecast, is predicted, is expected and is projected should be used.

If you use the active voice, add a subject.

Example: The diagram predicts/forecasts the level will rise.
